G-MEO offers an exciting 3 + 3 Study-Intern Abroad Program: 3-month-classes + 3-month-credit-bearing full-time internship.
China is the world’s second-largest economy. Due to its rapid economic growth, more and more employers are seeking job candidates who have experience and understanding of Chinese business culture. Chengdu, as one of the fastest growing cities in China, is now the home of more than half of the World Fortune 500 companies.
The international work experience you gain through your China internship will become a valuable asset while job hunting and to your future career prospects.

Students can take additional 3-4 courses from the Spring course list. Courses are offered in various fields of studies including Economic, Social Science, Humanities, STEM, and China Studies.

ACCOMMODATION
Standard double occupancy rooms for international students at the Sichuan University Huaxi Campus in downtown Chengdu. Single occupancy rooms are available at extra cost. Please reserve early to secure your room.
CHENGDU MAYOR’S ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
*All students attending the G-MEO Chengdu American Center for Study Abroad during the 3+3 Study-Intern Abroad will be awarded an award in the amount of RMB 15,000 (approximately $2,300 USD) upon successful completion of the program in China. This award is being provided to students attending the program by the Mayor's office of the Municipal Government of Chengdu. No additional material is required from students during the application process to receive this scholarship.
